This exhibition focuses on the co-operation between painters, surveyors and mapmakers from the 16th to the 18th-centuries. Together, they were interested in using new scientific discoveries to more accurately reflect the way in which they saw their surroundings. The exhibition contains some 170 works, not only of the capital city but also of the Brabant region. Paintings from Henri met de Bles and Antoons Van Dyck are among those on display.
