Christmas Mass Services

Christmas Mass will be celebrated in each of Venice's 117 active churches, with the larger ones offering a number of special services during the festive season. The Basilica di San Marco offers a midnight mass on Christmas Eve, while the Anglican church of St George's, near the Accademia, will serve up traditional hymns and carols to Brits abroad. For something rather adventurous, why not try the Armenian Monastery on the island of San Lazzaro degli Armeni for the Christmas morning mass.
