Australia Day

Sydney celebrates the arrival of the First Fleet with a series of public activities around the Harbour. A 1,000 strong vintage and veteran car rally will trundle down Macquarie Street while Hyde Park will be the venue for a selection of culinary delights from the city's restaurants and cellars. A ferry race in the morning will be followed by a tall ships' race in the afternoon while Darling Harbour rocks all day long to live entertainment concluding with a fireworks spectacular.
