ESB Sunday Circus
Nothing signals summer quicker then the start of the ESB Sunday Circus. Taking place every Sunday afternoon in the open air at Meeting House Square (near all the hotels), kids are actively encouraged to take part - there are even circus workshops to 'learn the craft'. A different performance group takes over each week, including Puca Puppets (who made a magical appearance at the St Patrick's Day festival), the Armagh Rhymers and the intriguingly named Cinemarionettes. All events are free but tickets, available from Temple Bar Properties, are required from some. The programme will run until the last Sunday in August.
